Retaining walls across regional NSW
Blamey Barracks at Kapooka, the Army's recruit training centre outside Wagga Wagga, is the furthest of our listed walls from Sydney: 1,600 square metres for Richard Crookes Constructions, delivered by a self-sufficient crew with its own plant.
The ground and the work
Regional work is a mobilisation exercise. Plant, materials, supervision and accommodation are planned for the duration of the wall, and the programme is built so the crew does not have to leave site and return.
