Retaining walls on the northern beaches
Two very different walls on the northern beaches: 3,000 square metres for FDC Construction & Fitout at Warriewood, and a three-metre Keystone charcoal reinforced earth wall at St Luke's Grammar School in Dee Why, matched to the school's colours.
The ground and the work
Sandstone ridges, clay valleys and a lot of water. Drainage behind a wall matters more here than almost anywhere in Sydney, and access to steep sites shapes the choice of system as much as the engineering does.
Places we cover
Warriewood, Dee Why, Mona Vale, Brookvale, Frenchs Forest and Manly. If your site is nearby and not named, it is almost certainly covered.
