The project

Burton Contractors engaged UCBC to design and construct the retaining walls for a development at Prestons in Sydney's south-west. The walls used the Keystone charcoal flush-face block, ran to more than 400 square metres, and averaged one and a half metres in height.

Low walls, wide coverage

Estate walls are rarely tall; they are long. Four hundred square metres at an average of a metre and a half is a lot of wall line, and the job is consistency: level first courses, a straight top line and matching colour across the whole development.

Burton on two estates

Burton Contractors also managed the civil works at Stockland's Glenmore Ridge, where we built 2,200 square metres of Keystone.
